Stainless Steel: A Good Choice of Cookware?

December 28th, 2008 Posted in Kitchen Appliances

No matter how many celebrations you have witnessed or how many housewarmings have you attended, when it comes to choosing a gift for someone you love, odds are that you still second guess yourself. Well, you are in good company because nearly everyone feels baffled by the daunting challenge of picking a perfect gift. Roses for wives and mothers, watches for men and boys, and cooking sets for newlyweds are the more common gifts.

The premise of presenting a cooking set to newlyweds is quite simple yet exceptionally logical. When you are offering something to a couple instead of husband or the wife independently, your gift should be enjoyed by both of them. This is precisely the reason that an All-Clad stainless steel 10 piece cookware set makes a perfect present for couples.

A good gift is a gift which is worth what you spend on it. The present you give should not be extremely cheap, because the recipient can probably tell the difference between a frugal gift-giver and a miserly one. On the other hand, buying a good gift does not mean the buyer must go into debt. In layman’s terms, the price of an appropriate gift such as an all-clad stainless steel 10 piece cookware set is an exceptional product for a reasonable price.

There is a profusion of materials for making kitchenware. Bone china, ceramics, silver, plastic, bronze, glass, and brass are used in addition to stainless steel. However, none of the other kinds of cookware perform as well as an all-clad stainless 10 pc set.

The reason for this assertion lies in the fact that cookware made of stainless steel have much longer life than pots made of any other material. In fact, when properly used, a stainless steel cookware set could last a lifetime.

What’s more, the all-clad stainless steel 10 piece cookware set contains peices which are dishwasher safe. These pots and pans are also undamaged by temperature extremes. They won’t crack or warp when moved from extreme cold to extreme heat.

There are a lot of quality cookware on the market today. I too feel that stainless steel cookware is some of the best available. But, beware, not all stainless steel cookware are equal. Some are durable and can last a lifetime, however, I have had a set that was of poor quality and the pans warped and did not sit flat on the stove. This was an inexpensive set. So, if you want quality, and you should if you want it to last, do not buy cheap stainless steel cookware.
